History

In 1988, Dr. Doug McLachlan had a burden to see men further equipped for ministry after they completed their college training. Working closely with Dr. Les Ollila and Northland's Bible Department, Dr. McLachlan began the Master of Ministry and Doctorate Ministry program to help pastors sharpen their ministry tools. Offered three times a year, these seminars continue to offer men in ministry a chance to study relevant issues facing them today.

In 2003, the Master of Arts degrees were instituted to provide academic degrees for graduate students who want to further expand their practical and theological knowledge and/or prepare for seminary.

In 2009, Dr. John F. Klem joined Northland International University as Dean of Northland Graduate School.
