Thirty-First Commencement: Saturday, May 15

Published On: Thursday, May 13, 2010

Finishing final exams, packing and cleaning rooms, spending time with friends that may not be seen for months or even years—all of these end-of-year activities took place on the campus of Northland International University this past week. Seniors are now filled with varied emotions as they approach the Commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 15, at 10 a.m. and then, ultimately, the future.

Family, friends, faculty, staff, and students will join together for Commencement to honor the graduates’ years of hard work. Many people will contribute to make this a memorable day, celebrating the culmination of the students’ accomplishments and the goodness of God in bringing each one to this point.

Dr. Gary Anderson, president of Baptist Mid-Missions in Cleveland, Ohio, will address the attendees of this thirty-first Commencement ceremony. Northland is blessed to confer about one hundred degrees this year, including associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctor of ministry degrees.
