Are you looking for an opportunity to learn more about God’s
creation while integrating the life-touching-life heartbeat of Northland at the
same time? The W.I.L.D. (Wilderness Institute for Leadership Development)
summer school might be just the thing for you!
Located in the rustic woods of Ontario, Canada, W.I.L.D. was
founded in 1984 with the purpose of inspiring pastors to use wilderness training
as a means for discipleship. During the 1990s, W.I.L.D. began to partner with
colleges and universities to extend this opportunity to their students as well.
This small group experience meshes well with the life-touching-life philosophy
that is integrated here at Northland.
This year’s one-week lab, offered for Northland through
Pilgrimage, will be from May 15−21. During this week, attendees will not only receive
vigorous training in wilderness skills but will also have time for their own
personal growth spiritually. This experience can also count as a three-credit
course for students of Northland International University.
