Northland’s campus includes two undergraduate student dormitories: the Mamie Patz Residence Hall for women and the Paul Patz Residence Hall for men. Each dormitory features carpeting, laundry facilities, wireless internet, computer terminals, vending machines, a student kitchen, and a casual lounge with a television and couches. Rooms in the Mamie Patz Residence Hall and the Paul Patz Residence Hall South Wing have private showers. Typically, three or four students are housed in each room.

Dorm life composes an integral aspect of Northland’s discipleship emphasis. The close living quarters occasioned by the dormitory environment provide innumerable platforms for personal mentoring to take place. Each room is assigned an upperclassman room leader who leads nightly prayer groups, encourages room unity, and challenges each roommate to grow in his or her walk with the Lord. Halls within the dormitories are under the direction of Resident Assistants, and Dormitory Supervisors provide oversight for the dormitory as a whole. Dormitory leadership members focus on individual discipleship, meeting each student where he or she is and encouraging him or her to thrive spiritually.
