After much prayer, counsel, and careful deliberation, the Northland board of directors is thrilled to announce that on Wednesday, July 24th, we appointed Mr. Daniel Patz to be Northland’s fourth president. Daniel, a 1998 graduate of Northland, is the grandson of our founder Paul Patz. He is also a graduate of Central Seminary in Minneapolis and has served as the lead pastor of Grace Church in Wyoming, MN since 2002. For several years now, God has been burdening Daniel to reconnect with Northland and serve our ministry. Little did he know all that God would do in fulfilling that burden. Since May, he has been serving as the chairman of the board of directors and acting president, but we quickly realized God was positioning Daniel for the presidency. Daniel, Molly, and their family have been living at Northland throughout this summer as he helped lead through this transition time. They are excited to truly get settled, welcome the students back, and get started on what promises to be a great academic year.

Please continue to pray with us as we anticipate the fall semester. There is still much to be done, but we serve a faithful God who will give strength, wisdom, and direction. We are confident that God's glory will continue to be on display here and thrilled to continue preparing the next generation for Great Commission Living.
