The
most important thing that I am thankful for and appreciate about the faculty
at Northland is that they SINCERELY CARE about the students. Northland
is different. The faculty's observations from students looking tired to
the chats Dr. Olson has with the student body reflect their love. It is
evident that the faculty prays for the student body as a whole as well
as individual students who are struggling. Janelle has often talked
one-on-one with professors regarding different subjects or struggles
she is having. They listen, pray with and for her. We don't have a lot
of experience with other universities, but I know that Northland is
different. Given the opportunity, we would highly recommend everyone to
Northland. —Carol Spragg
As
a parent, I really like the Northland website. It has lots of great
pictures on there. Northland does a great job of taking care of the
students. When your daughter/son is so far away from home, it is
comforting to know that they are in a community that cares for them in
every aspect of life. On occasion I have had to call the school, and I
am always treated with respect. My issues, concerns, or questions have
always been handled superbly. One of my favorite things about Northland
is the wonderful job they do with local churches. The Extension program
is great! It is so good to know that these young people are working in
churches and being prepared to be active adult members of their
churches. —Pam Jackson
We
are very appreciative of the fact that we feel our daughter is blessed
to be a student in a Bible college that has a heart for true
discipleship. We have tried to instill in our children a heart of love
for Christ that will ‘flesh out’ in service to Him and others, and that
is what Northland is all about, too. So it's a great fit for us. We are
also thankful that Northland knows our daughter personally—she’s not
just a ‘number.’ And parents of a daughter far from home might be
tempted to worry about safety, etc., but we're confident that she’s in
good hands. —Scott and Dori Nicoll
