Celebrating fifty years of life-touching-life ministry by remodeling the “heart” of Northland.

Preparing the Hearts of Students and Campers

It is the mission of our university to “prepare the next generation of servant-leaders for Great Commission living,” and the mission of our camp is to “help your family take the next spiritual step.” We are thrilled to present God’s Word and see Him work in hearts. For nearly fifty years, God has graciously privileged us to minister to local churches and their families. Our desire is to continue to provide a place for your children and your children’s children to come and be transformed for eternity.

Preparing the Home of Northland

As we focus on our mission of preparing hearts for Christ-likeness, we must also continue to prepare the Northland “home” for future years of service. Our oldest buildings, including the two original dorms, the Dining Hall, the recreation hall, and the White Chapel are strategic to ongoing camp and university ministry. Over the past several years, through God’s grace and the generous gifts of many friends of Northland, we have been able to completely renovate the original dorms as well as our Dining Hall.

Our next campus improvement project is the remodeling of our recreation hall. Current on-campus options for recreation and relaxation are somewhat limited. We desire to enhance our existing facilities and create new student and camper activities. Our current recreation center was constructed in the 1960s. We plan to completely renovate the building’s interior to accommodate new recreational activities for our students and campers. The exterior will be re-sided to match the other recently renovated student residence halls and Dining Hall. Additionally, we plan to create an outside park area for games and recreation, purchase ice skates and cross-country skis, and provide other student and camper-friendly activities.
