Celebrating fifty years of life-touching-life ministry by remodeling the “heart” of Northland.
Preparing the
Hearts of Students and Campers
It is the mission of our university to “prepare the next
generation of servant-leaders for Great Commission living,” and the mission of
our camp to “help your family take another spiritual step.” We are thrilled to
present God’s Word and see Him work in hearts. For nearly fifty years God has
graciously privileged us to minister to local churches and their families. Our
desire is to continue to have a place for your children and your children’s
children to come and be transformed for eternity.
Preparing the
Home of Northland
As we have focused our mission to prepare hearts for Christ-likeness,
we must also prepare the Northland “home” for future years of ministry. Three
of our oldest buildings, the two original dorms and the Dining Hall, are
strategic to future campers as well as college and graduate students. This past
year, we completed the first phase of Preparing the Heart with the total
renovation and remodeling of the two original dorms. By God’s grace and
generous gifts we now have two beautiful new buildings that will help us serve
the young people. We believe Northland’s “Preparing the Heart—Preparing the
Home” initiatives can be both an expression of gratitude to God for what He has
done and a step of faith into the future mission of what He has called us to do
for His glory.
Now that we have completed the first goal of “Preparing the
Heart” with our incredible refurbished dorms, we are making large strides to
renovate and expand our Dining Hall. Built in the 1960s when Northland was only
a small summer camp, our dining facility is now in desperate need of expansion
and renovation in order to accommodate for Northland’s continuing and future growth.
