The Les and Charlene Ollila Scholarship
Northland created the Les and Charlene Ollila Scholarship to honor the Ollilas' twenty-five years of faithful service to Christ at Northland and to ensure that future generations benefit from their life-touching-life philosophy. The Northland administration awards this scholarship to students who desire to work in youth ministry and exemplify the same spirit of servant leadership as Doc O and Charlene. The administration desires for these students to be blessed and encouraged in their efforts to serve the Lord by receiving financial assistance through this scholarship fund.

Ministry Scholarship Information and Eligibility Criteria
Northland's founder, Paul Patz, had a great love for people, and he understood the financial sacrifices most make in order to serve in a full-time capacity. Although he believed in individual fiscal responsibility and in a strong work ethic, he created the Ministry Scholarship to make Northland more affordable for students whose parents work in vocational Christian service. Students who qualify for this scholarship will receive $2,500 each semester. To qualify for this scholarship, the head of a student’s household must be in full-time, vocational ministry.
Specific Requirements:
- Recipients must maintain a 2.25 GPA or above to receive the Ministry Scholarship.
- Recipients must pass the Christian Service class each semester. Recipients are eligible for the Ministry Scholarship for only a maximum of eight (8) semesters.
- Recipients must be under age twenty-four at the time of initial application.
- Recipients must live on campus. Those living off campus and meeting the other applicable requirements will receive a $500 scholarship.
- Recipients must apply for the Ministry Scholarship each year before the scholarship deadline.

Heart Scholarship
The Heart Scholarship is designed to help sustain upperclassmen whose financial struggles may hinder the completion of their education in a timely manner. It is our desire to aid these students so that they can move on to fulfill God’s call for their lives. Each semester, several students are selected to receive $2,500 from this scholarship fund.
Grace Kneibler Hanline Memorial Scholarship
A survey conducted in the fall of 2007 revealed that 43 percent of current Northland students believe that they will serve the Lord on a foreign mission field when their education and training are completed. They will join a faithful roster of Northland alumni who are now serving in fifty different countries of the world. It is with this spirit that the Grace Kneibler Hanline Memorial Scholarship was established in the fall of 2007. This scholarship is for Northland students who desire to serve the Lord as a church planter or as a trainer of church planters on a foreign mission field. In addition, recipients must be a citizen of the United States or Canada, have a minimum GPA of 2.50, give evidence of God’s calling to a mission field, be active in their local church, demonstrate leadership skills, and demonstrate a consecrated walk with the Lord.
Titus Scholarship
The Titus Scholarship exists to help students from foreign countries who desire to return to their native countries after graduation in order to further the work of the Gospel.
