One of the main functions of the International Student Office is to provide a community of interaction for all of Northland’s international students. Students from countries outside of the United States have needs and problems particular to their individual settings. We strive to meet those needs in a community of like-minded students. We think of our international students as one big family!
In addition to maintaining a community of international students, the International Student Office assists with needs such as visas, travel, course registration, living arrangements, work study, and everything in between. In addition to getting international students settled and taking courses at Northland, the Center for Global Opportunities is open year around to aid international students with issues particular to their setting and individual needs.
