Global Advance and Global Action—what do we mean? We want to be focused on the task of the Great Commission while, at the same time, evaluating from a biblical perspective all that we are doing to share and show the love of Christ. Hence, Northland initiated Global Advance—evaluating and discussing biblical models of missions in the twenty-first century; and Global Action—what we are doing right now to continue the work of the Great Commission.
Global Advance:
In today’s Global Village, times and methods are changing fast. We need to be responsive to these changes; yet, we must hold fast to our biblical convictions. Where do these two obligations intersect? To be sure, there are many differing ideas about how to fulfill the task of the Great Commission. The difficulty lies in knowing which strategies and methods are truly biblical.The Northland Center for Global Opportunities is in pursuit of a biblical dialogue in the arena of missions.

At Northland, we are eager to pursue the task of the Great Commission on many fronts. From prayer initiatives, worldview tours, GO trips, to study abroad programs, we have many opportunities available for students to take action for the cause of the Gospel!
